The Higher Institute of Foreign Relations Raúl Roa García invites to the:

X International Seminar on Foreign Relations ISRI 2012

To be celebrated from April the 26th to the 28th, 2012 in the institute premises situated at Calzada 308. Vedado, Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, Cuba.

CENTRAL THEME
“The Foreign Relations in a Changing World”

Themes:

1. The crisis/crises of capitalism and its impact in the different regions and countries.
2. Continuity and changes in the current world “order”.
3. The communication posibilities in the light of the technological development and its role in international relations.
4. Current situation and perspectives of the integrationist processes.
5. International migrations.
6. Climate change and development.
7. The main problems of international security.
8. Improving the training of the professional in foreign relations.

Participation will be allowed in the quality of speaker – in panels previously arranged- with individual papers, or as observers. The registration fee will be of $100.00 CUC for foreigners. Students will pay $60.00 CUC.

Papers shall not exceed the 15 pages and the authors will have 15 minutes for their presentations. The speakers should present their proposals with a summary of the content in no more than two paragraphs with no more than 250 words, as well as the contact information and general data before March 1st, 2012. The papers should be sent via e-mail before April 9. A printed copy should be delivered while registering.
